ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• The organization must be a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Grant monies may not be directed to or used for fiscal sponsorships.
• The organization must be physically located in and serve NBC Miami Television Market as defined as the terrestrial geographic viewing area in the counties of Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe in the state of Florida.
• The organization must have been in existence for more than three years and have an annual operating budget of more than $500,000.
• The program being submitted by the organization must have been in operation for less than three years (approximately).
• 21st Century Solutions supports high impact, innovative projects that are effecting change in our local communities. Primary categories of projects to be considered include:
  • Arts and Media
  • Civic Engagement
  • Community Development
  • Education
  • Environment
  • Jobs and Economic Empowerment
  • Technology and Innovation
• Grant funds may not be used to support political, labor, religious or fraternal organizations, causes or programs.
• 21st Century Solutions will accept one entry per Tax ID Number, per year.
• Winning organizations are eligible to re-apply for new program funding every three years.
