Celeb Spotting in Miami

Bikinis, bad boys behaving themselves and actors from bad movies made Miami news this past week

PUT A SHIRT ON IT: Beyonce was in town for a concert this past week and while she was more than happy to show her stuff on stage, she didn’t feel the same under the sun. The curvy crooner kept her bootylicious body covered up with a white T-shirt and denim shorts on her trip to the beach. Just a note to our beloved Beyonce, when white gets wet, it’s see-through. Furthermore, we hope this isn’t the latest swimwear trend, because you know those Miami girls would be sportin’ thongs shorts to beat those tan lines.

REFORMED RODMAN: Are Dennis Rodman’s days of drunken stupors, dining and dashing and avid arrests behind the former b-baller? After a stop at Sole on the Ocean, you might just think so. The recently rehabbed Rodman showed up mid-afternoon for the Recoup Sundays pool party and stayed hours after the sun set, all the while ignoring partygoers and shooing away the paps. He even forked over dough for his drinks, despite the fact that the condo-hotel offered to comp him. Looks like something other than South Beach is starting to finally grow up.

FORE: Up until recently, we had no idea celebs loved golf so much. Well, maybe it’s not the golf they love, maybe it’s Miami’s summer sun. Or maybe it’s DJ Irie. Or maybe it’s the charity Big Brothers and Big Sisters. All were factors that brought out the star set June 27 to the Miami Beach Golf Club for DJ Irie’s weekend. Joey Fatone swung his clubs, as did Gabrielle Union. But what we want to know is, did she also swing by a certain Heat player’s house, too?

FALLEN FIESTA: Just because you made or star in a movie the critics say sucks, doesn’t mean you can’t party. And that’s exactly what Michael Bay and Isabel Lucas of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen did June 27 in Miami. The party started with a special screening at Regal South Beach, and then everyone headed over to LIV at the Fontainebleau to drink away the disaster they just saw. Randoms in the mix: Stephanie Pratt, who shares the same last name as the always charming Spencer, and Katrina Campins, who we assume is promoting the upcoming disaster, Miami Social. Hang on however you can, guys.
