THANKS FOR DINNER: The daunting task of cooking for 20 people sounds frightening. Take a load off and head over to Balans Restaurant on Lincoln, where they'll take the stress of cooking off your hands and flat out do it for you. Enjoy from the delicious three-course menu for $24.95 plus tax and gratuity. Pretty sweet deal. Balans Restaurant, 1 P.M.

SHAKE THOSE CANS: Turkey Day usually makes us giddy and unusually caring. If you're feeling a little generous today, but still want to hold up your partying end of the deal, then head on over to the ((Shake))sgiving Canned Food Drive and Borscht Film Festival pre-party. It's simple: bring in two cans of food for free admission to the par-tay. See, giving back isn't so hard, and you're already feeling warm and fuzzy inside.  The Vagabond, 10 P.M.

NO RAIN HERE: Parades shouldn't be rained on. Heck, that never happens to the lucky folks at Macy's, and Miami wants to do the same. The Winternational Thanksgiving Day Parade shuts down NE 125th Street, between 6th and 12th avenues, for a family (and kid) approved show full of creative floats and marching bands, each competing for a $550 prize and the ever-prestigious title of, "Best Band." Macy's who? North Miami, 10 A.M.
