WHIP IT GOOD: If you loved Academy Award nominee Ellen Page in "Juno," then her latest endeavor has been on your radar. Come to AMC Theaters at Sunset Place for Gen Art's advanced screening of "Whip It," Drew Barrymore's directorial debut movie. The movie is about the odd-ball-out Bliss Cavender, a girl just trying to find herself and take control of her future. Visit Gen Art's website to purchase tickets. 7:30 P.M.
SORRY I'M TAKEN: Tired of getting fake phone numbers and getting shot down 20 times? Come to Pacific Time in the Design District for "About Last Night," where you're guaranteed neverending drinks, delicious food, and, of course, mingling with the opposite sex. GET THE BAND TOGETHER: Calling all Rock Band enthusiasts! Here's your chance to get your band out of the garage and into prime(ish) time. Compete in the ultimate Rock Band tournament at Transit Lounge and, if you pluck those strings just right, you'll be going into the final event extravaganza, where you could win a $50 bar tab.
