WINE AND ART: We know the dynamic duo that is wine and art. But this time, it's you that's creating the art (and drinking the wine). Come to Total Wine & More (a.k.a. wine heaven) for a painting party hosted by Brushes and Bottles. Don't worry, all supplies are provided, including the wine. Admission is $35 and registration is required by visiting the Brushes and Bottles website.

VIVA ESPANA: Are those ears of yours starved for a new sound? Check out Putumayo World Music Nights at the Wave Hotel, where they'll be launching their new music title, Espana. Be the first to listen to the new sound with DJs spinning their compilations, appetizing drink specials, free tapas, flamenco dancing, and free sampler CDs. As an added bonus, a portion of Putumayo's proceeds will be donated to Intermón Oxfam, the Spanish branch of Oxfam International, which supports the empowerment of fair trade artisans and farmers worldwide. 6-8 P.M.

A DIFFERENT VIEW: For those who like to see the panoramic view of issues, this movie is for you. At the Colony Theater, there will be a special screening of "The Visitor," an Academy Award-winning movie about an American college professor and a young immigrant couple who grapple with the treatment of immigrants and the legal process in post-9/11 America. Following the movie is Immigrant's List's panel discussion led by Miami immigration attorney Ira Kurzban, and featuring Marleine Bastien (Haitian Women of Miami), Cheryl Little (Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center) and Professor Irwin Stotzky (University of Miami Law School). 7 P.M.
