Comedy nuts perform at Gemma Lounge tonight

Yamil Piedra and Johnny Trabanco are A Pair of Nuts. Not the ones Jimmy Carter grows in Georgia or the ones in your pants, they’re two comedians, goofballs, you know, nuts. Tonight, the two funny guys are hosting their second of a now weekly night event, The Nut Lounge, at Gemma Lounge.
This new swanky joint is located on Lincoln Road and it’s host to the only comedy night on the beach. They claim to be “serving top shelf comedy.” This implies there’s well comedy, which is just mean. To be fair though, these comedians are pretty much funnier than most of the rest. There’s Oni Perez, Pam Bruno, Dominic Perenzin, Jessica Gross and Adam Sampson, all working their fannies off to make you giggle.
To add to the luxury of free comedy, there will also be free hors d’oeuvres and drinks that you should pay for in support of this quirky craft. A Pair of Nuts have been featured on "Last Call with Carson Daly," BET and the Discovery Channel, but YouTube might be the best way to catch an honest taste of their humor considering that everyone seems hilarious next to Carson Daly.
Head down to Gemma Lounge to relax and laugh. The show’s on from 8 to 10:30 p.m.
