Boutique Caters to Ladies and Their Furry BFFs
Local launches Stix and Stones for divas and their dogs

Who says dogs are man’s best friend?
Certainly not Allison Ramirez, the owner of Stix and Stones, an online boutique that caters to fashionable women and their pooches.
The 22-year-old Palmetto Bay resident launched her store less than a year ago after seeing a need for busy women like herself to have an online shop for themselves and their little furry BFFs.
“I have a sprinkling of national customers buying, but it is mainly local women ranging from 18 to 45,” said Ramirez, a college senior majoring in English.
The shop is named after her rescue dog Shiloh, who loves to grab sticks and run around with them, and stones represents the baubles she sells on her site.
In fact, one of her best selling jewelry brands is vintage-inspired label Elizabeth Cole.
“When it comes to my dog products, Hollywood Collars take the cake,” she said. “Each leather collar is handmade and adorned with different stones and studs.”
Aside from jewelry and collars, the shop is stocked with everything from clothing and purses to shoes.
Find bags by Beautiful People, Foley+Corinna and Linea Pelle, and shoes by Cynthia Vincent, Dolce Vita and Farylrobin.
Clothing for women includes tees and tanks by local brand Gold Saturn.
Check out doggy brands like 26 Bars & a Band and Ruff Ruff and Meow for a “Gangsta” doggy tee.
