Stila's new Barbie line hits stores

Maybe you’re too old to be playing with Barbie dolls or collecting memorabilia, but here’s something you can nab for the big kid in you: the Barbie Loves Stila Collection.

The makeup line was launched to celebrate the iconic doll’s 50^th anniversary, and just a few weeks ago, the newest limited edition collection hit stores like Sephora in Dadeland Mall.

The new line features eye shadow palettes like Barbie Loves Stila All Doll’d Up Eye Shadow Palette, which has over 12 different hues. Plus, the Barbie Loves Stila Talking Palette, for which Barbie literally talks you through a step-by-step application.

For that perfect pout, check out the lip gloss trio, which brings colors Joy, Happiness and, the Barbie exclusive, Tickled Pink, which is a hot pink shade so you can look like a real doll. Plastic or otherwise.

Then there’s the Barbie Loves Stila Smudge Pot, which is an eyeliner and shadow in one. Talk about a good deal.

“The collection is perfect for the gal who is fun and flirty,” said Sara Biria, Sephora PRO Beauty Team expert. “The colors are bright and work well with all skin tones,” she added.

With Barbie looking so hot at 50, who knows -- maybe there’s hope for us all.
