What's that overbearing smell in the air over South Beach, you ask?

Why it's the scent of gangsta rapper turned good guy mixed with the aroma from a set of aging breasts not ready to give up sex symbol status. In other words, celebrities looking for a new revenue stream are peddling their new fragrances at posh spots this weekend.

Curtis Jackson, AKA 50 Cent, will be up in da club at LIV on Saturday to pop a few bottles of his new cologne, Power. No word if there will be a few free samples, but we are pretty sure it will cost more than a couple of quarters to smell like 50. Watch out for that fragrance shower.

But if smelling like Teflon or the aftermath of a lap dance isn't your thing, then maybe you want to smell like a '90s beach drama or a an old babe still moving in slow motion.

Pamela Anderson, who just loves South Florida, is in town marketing her new perfume called Malibu at the W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

In order accommodate all her fans, Anderson has split Malibu into two distinct scents, Malibu Day and Malibu Night.

According to one smell test, the Day perfume smells like wild berries, tangerine, and sweet honeysuckle, while the Night variety has a pomegranate, persimmon, and chocolate infusion. Sounds yummy. The fragrances will be available at a CVS near you in the near future.

We know which poison we'd pick, but to each his or her own. Just remember to bring your wallet and even you can smell like a star.
