Thurs., Dec. 18 – Nguzunguzu at Perez Art Museum Miami, 6 pm, $8 - $12
Continuing the Basel vibes is the newly opened Perez Art Museum Miami, which has a series of events that are launching this month. On the third Thursday of each month, PAMM hosts a happy hour with a musical act or DJ. The inaugural show this Thursday features Los Angeles duo Nguzunguzu, who will be spinning on the terrace overlooking Biscayne Bay.
Thur., Dec. 19 – Curren$y at Grand Central, 8 pm, $30 - $100
Thursday night at Grand Central, the Green Christmas tour comes to Miami, bringing in a different spin on holiday cheer. New Orleans based rapper Curren$y is headlining the show, with hosts Butta P of 99 Jamz and Carlito of Terror Squad joining in. Also performing at the show are DJs Smokey Bear, Willie Biggz, and KD.
Fri., Dec. 20 – Y100 Jingle Ball at BB&T Center, 7:30 pm, $86.00 - $266.00
The pop stars come out to play on Friday night, with the Jingle Ball concert coming down to the BB&T Center. Jason Derulo, Fall Out Boy, Demi Lovato, and Ariana Grande will be starting off the annual concert, accompanied by other artists including Avril Lavigne and Enrique Iglesias . Reuniting after their intimate VMA performance, Robin Thicke and Miley Cyrus are headlining what's sure to be an epic night.
Sat., Dec. 21 – Locos por Juana and Afro Kumbe, The Stage, 9 pm, $10 - $15
Christmas comes to early to the Design District, as 'La Fiesta Loca' has it's Navidena edition. La Fiesta Loca, hosted by Locos por Juana, is a monthly installment from the Miami group and features musical acts from all over. December features Afro Kumbe, a Miami based electro- Caribbean group at The Stage.
