Fri., Aug. 2 - 12th Planet at Grand Central, 11 pm, $15

This Friday, Downtown venue Grand Central gets a heavy dose of dubstep within its walls. A plethora of EDM genres will be represented this weekend, between the three DJs spinning, starting with the Caligula Twins and Sluggers. Headlining the event is none other than 12th Planet, a drum and bass, dubstep DJ based out of Los Angeles. Between the three acts performing, guests can expect a night of heavy bass, to say the least.

Sat. Aug 3 – Mad Decent Block Party at Revolution Live, 2 pm

Fort Lauderdale's Revolution Live is going to be taken over by a massive all day festival known as the Mad Decent Block Party. Based off the record label Mad Decent, lead by DJ/Producer Diplo, the show will feature some of the best up and coming DJs, plus some well known artists. Headlining the show is Major Lazer, who are joined by Zeds Dead and Flosstradamus. Also joining in on the festivities: Big Gigantic, Riff Raff, DZA, and others.

Sat., Aug. 3 – Diplo at LIV, 11 pm, $60 - $75

Diplo – super producer and half of Major Lazer – is here for one reason, and one reason only: for you to 'Express Yourself'. The talented DJ/producer, who is from Florida originally, will be bringing his talents back down to home state this Saturday at LIV. This show promises to be nothing less of a full on twerk fest, mostly due to the different influences Diplo pulls into his DJ sets. Joining in on the madness: EDX.
