Live Music This Week: July 8 – July 14

Wed., July 10 – Beyonce at American Airlines Arena at 8 p.m.

This year has been nothing less than phenomenal for Queen Bey. With a Super Bowl performance under her belt and plenty of endorsement deals, Beyonce has been steadily gaining steam as her new album approaches. Although the album has a release date that continues to linger, several songs have been featured in commercials.

Wed., July 10 – Bachaco at The Hoxton, 9 p.m.

Bachaco, an eight piece group based out of Miami, fuses together a slew of influences to create their unique brand of 'Afro-Caribbean Roots Rock'. The band has been performing all over the city with songs off their first self titled debut album, which showcases the range the group incorporates. This show at The Hoxton marks the final Miami show before the group embarks on their summer tour. Best part of all: it's free!

Fri., July 12 – Flosstradamus at LIV, 11 p.m.

Bass, hip hop, and house - just a few of the elements that make every Flosstradamus set remarkable. Chicago DJs, Autobot and J2K, make up the duo known as Flosstradamus, and are best known for making a big influence on the trap scene. The group has stopped by Miami multiple times over the years, and performed this year at Ultra Music Festival. This Friday, they stop at Miami Beach club LIV to throw down what's sure to be an amazing set.

Sat., July 13 – Carlos Vives at American Airlines Arena, 8:30 p.m., $21 - $142

Currently on his 'Como Le Gusta a Mi Pueblo tour', international artist Carlos Vives is stopping off at Latin American countries and several American dates . The Colombian singer has won a Grammy and multiple Latin Grammys, plus has a discography that ranges back to 1980s. Notable hits include 'Fruta Fresca', 'Luna Nueva', and 'Como Tu'. This Saturday, the singer performs many of his hits from over the years at the American Airlines Arena, starting at 8:30 p.m.
