Live Music This Week: October 14 – 20

RESCHEDULED - Oct. 22 – Austin Mahone at The Fillmore Miami Beach, 7:30 pm, $42.50 - $56.50

Prepare yourselves, Mahomies: Austin Mahone is coming to Miami. Before Mahone toured with Taylor Swift and signed with Young Money, he had a much more humble start: YouTube. The YouTube sensation turned pop star is currently preparing his debut album, and is currently headlining his own tour which stops at The Fillmore this Thursday night.

Fri., Oct. 18 – Steve Aoki and Waka Floka at LIV, 11 pm, $75 - $90
After releasing what is easily one of the biggest songs of the summer with 'Boneless', Steve Aoki is now touring across the country on the 'Aokify America Tour'. Joining him is none other than Atlanta based rapper Waka Floka – which means this is going to be one hell of a party. Between Aoki's penchant for spraying crowds with champagne and the usual LIV atmosphere, Friday night is going to be nothing short of spectacular.

Fri., Oct. 18 – PALO! At PAX, 10 pm

Afro-Cuban influences come together with Funk whenever PALO! Comes together to play. This local group has been performing together for a decade and has their distinct sound all over South Florida. This Friday, the group performs a free show at Brickell's PAX, starting at 10 pm.

Sun., Oct 20 – The Lumineers at Sunset Cove Ampitheatre, 6:45

It's nearly impossible to get 'Ho Hey' out of your head once you've heard it, which is one of the main reasons it was one of the biggest songs of 2012. The Indie Folk band behind the song, The Lumineers, have followed up that hit with the equally catchy 'Stubborn Love'. The group will be gracing the stage at Sunset Cove Ampitheatre in Boca Raton this Sunday night.
