Live Music this Weekend: Sept. 9 – Sept. 14

Fri., Sept. 13 – Stokeswood at The Stage, 9 pm, $10

While Stokeswood may consider Atlanta home, the group is constantly heading to South Florida, and return to the 305 on Saturday night. The indie pop group has referred to their sound as 'low indie', but their performances are noted with their incredible energy and dynamic songs. Joining the group at The Stage is Warp 9, an electro-funk band based out of Miami.

Sat., Sept. 14 – Honda Civic Tour at Cruzan Ampitheatre, 7 pm, $29.50 - $93.50

Pop, R&B, and Rock come together this Saturday, as the Honda Civic Tour hits Cruzan Ampitheatre. R&B Singer PJ Morton will be beginning the show, followed by American Idol alum Kelly Clarkson, who will be performing songs off her upcoming new album 'Wrapped in Red'. Headlining the show is Maroon 5, known for their distinct pop rock sound that retains a dash of soul.

Sat., Sept. 14 – Andres Cepeda at Fillmore Miami Beach, 8 pm, $33.50 - $103.50

Andres Cepeda first began his career with Poligamia, but the Colombian singer songwriter has been a fully fledged solo artist since the late 90s. Since going solo, Cepeda has been nominated for multiple Latin Grammys, and has released seven albums. This Saturday, he performs the ballads that have made him famous at Miami Beach's own, The Fillmore.
Sun., Sept 15 – Depeche Mode at BB&T Center, 7:30 pm, $35.75 - $85.75

With thirteen top 10 albums, countless hits, and history that spans over thirty years, it's impossible to ignore the impact Depeche Mode has had on music. They defined electronic music before the thumping beats and bass drops that are omipresent today existed. This Sunday, the legendary band graces the stage at the BB&T Center for what is sure to be an amazing performance, starting at 7:30 pm.
