What You're Doing This Week- August 12-18

Neiman Marcus Trend Event for Fashionably Conscious

On Wednesday, August 14, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., the Village of Merrick Park and Neiman Marcus Coral Gables are hosting a Collection Party for Fashionably Conscious fundraiser during Neiman Marcus’ semi-annual Trend Event. The evening will feature a fashion showcase of the latest styles for fall 2013. Shoppers will enjoy bubbly and bites with music by DJ Mike Cruz and those who donate to the cause and make a Neiman Marcus purchase that night will receive a shopping incentive. Each year leading up to Fashionably Conscious, a series of boutique “Collection Parties” pop up throughout the mall at different merchant locations, where Miami’s most respected philanthropists, community leaders and fashion icons donate gently worn designer clothing and handbags, creating the inventory for the fundraising sale that occurs in September.
