Carolina Herrera Is Calling all Models

Trump National Doral and the Cadillac Championship, along with Trump Model Management, will be hosting an official model search on the Fashion Show stage on Fashion Friday, March 7. All interested females, ages 15-25 with a minimum height of 5’8” should send a portrait and full-body photos along with name, address, phone number, age, height and email to modelsearch@trumpmodels.com or via mail to 155 Spring St. 5th Floor, New York, NY 10012. The deadline to submit preregistration information is Feb. 28. Finalists will be preselected from a pool of applicants and invited for a callback on Friday, March 7.  Starting at 12 p.m., all models will participate in an interview and runway test as part of the competition and will be judged by the Trump Model Panel, with the search ending in one girl being selected and winning the prize of a yearlong contract with Trump Models, a trip to NYC for testing, a meet and greet with Ivanka Trump, the chance to attend the Carolina Herrera Show and walk the red carpet that evening, and an Ivanka Trump apparel package from Trump National Doral. The Trump Model Search judging panel includes Trump Models president Corinne Nicolas, director of scouting Duane Gazi and Ocean Drive editor-in-chief Jared Shapiro. On the final runway competition, Hannah Ferguson (2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Rookie) will join the panel and present the award.
 
Cars, Cause & Charity
 
Warren Henry Auto Group and Lou La Vie will host the “Cars, Cause & Charity” fundraiser event on Saturday, March 1 from 2-7 p.m. at Sun Life Stadium, 2269 NW 199th St. The block party will feature a showcase of the world’s finest classic and exotic vehicles, food trucks and live entertainment, all to benefit Wounded Warriors of South Florida. Preregistration is $20 per vehicle, while registration is $25 per vehicle on the day of the event.
 
Be A Kid Again
 
The Miami Children’s Museum’s Be A Kid Again Gala takes place this Saturday, March 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the museum, located at 980 MacArthur Causeway.  This party is a must for anyone who wants to go back to the “Disco Era.”  For the party, MCM will be transformed into “Studio MCM.” Dave Barry and Paul Castronovo will present a live auction before guests get the chance to get their groove on during the Boogie Knights: Complete Studio 54™ Tribute. The night kicks off with a cocktail reception inside the museum’s galleries filled with an extensive silent auction, featuring a wine section with exclusive lots from all over the world, followed by food tastings, the live auction and dancing.
