Help for A.Y.U.D.A
Sense Beach House’s cozy corner bistro, The Local House, has launched "Appetizers for A.Y.U.D.A."- during which the restaurant will donate $1 from each order of its best-selling goat cheese croquettes appetizer to the local Miami Beach charity, which stands for Adults and Youth with Unmet Needs Deserve Attention. A foundation close to the restaurant’s heart, the charity was established in 1977 and is a community-based non-profit organization that has served over 145,000 children, adolescents, adults, and elderly in South Florida. The Local House also partnered with A.Y.U.D.A. in a successful toy drive that took place last December.
PULSE: Late Night at the New World Symphony
On Friday, April 4, from 9:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m., The New World Center will be transforming into a late-night lounge—complete with Grey Goose vodka cocktails, club-style lighting and video projections. Miami's own, DJ Laura will spin electronic grooves alongside performances by the New World Symphony of contemporary and classical works for orchestra and ensembles. Tickets are $35 for the full evening at the New World Center and can be purchased at www.nws.edu.

2014 Life Time South Beach Triathlon
The 2014 Life Time South Beach Triathlon, produced and presented by Life Time – The Healthy Way of Life Company, takes place on Sunday, April 6, in South Beach. The Life Time South Beach Triathlon is expected to host nearly 3,000 triathletes and will kick off the 2014 Life Time Tri series. The Triathlon is a multi-sport event that includes an international-distance course and sprint-distance course. A slew of celebrities are expected to attend. Walk Now for Autism Speaks
In anticipation for the “Walk Now for Autism Speaks” walk in Miami on April 6th, 2014, South Florida businesses have come together to raise funds for Autism Speaks, the nation’s largest autism research and advocacy organization. "The fun-filled, family event is the most powerful force to fund vital research towards research on autism spectrum disorder," and is set to take place at J.C. Bermudez (3000 NW 87th Ave, Doral, FL) Park on Sunday, April 6, at 10 a.m. As the first cookware company to sponsor Autism Speaks, IMUSA USA has partnered with Sedano’s Supermarkets to raise funds through a "Puzzle Piece" campaign where Sedano’s Supermarkets’ customers will be invited to contribute by purchasing a $1 puzzle piece.
