Mission Park at Hispanicize

Actors, Vivica A. Fox and Jeremy Ray Valdez will be at the premier of Mission Park, a new Latin American film on April 12 at the Hispanicize Film Festival on South Beach. FLO-RIDA Headlines Lea and Roy Blacks’ Annual Gala

Music superstar, Flo-rida will headline Lea & Roy Blacks’ annual gala, along with American Idol winner, Taylor Hicks and DJ Trouble at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach on Saturday, April 13. Expect to rub elbows with a few celebrities at one of the most highly-anticipated events of the year. The Blacks’ Gala will include free flowing Grey Goose cocktails, a catered dinner, one of a kind auction items and unforgettable performances.  You’ll also get your hands on a lavish gift bag as a parting gift. Dream Pop Art Show at the Hoxton

Some of your local Latinas and various other local and international stars will be framed _ in a good way _ on Saturday night at the The Hoxton, (1111 SW 1st Avenue) for Pop artist Amy Cinnamon’s Dream Pop Portraits exhibition. Cinnamon is a self-taught Cartoonist and Graphic Designer who creates art from childhood memories she has of playing with Barbies. All of her pieces are created digitally and is further personalized through each characters hair, makeup and wardrobe. Cinnamon specializes in portraits of popular personalities in Miami. She has created pieces of celebrities Amy Winehouse, Audrey Hepburn, Mickey Rourke, Marilyn Manson and Anna Nicole Smith to name a few.
