Fashion and fine arts photographer Erik Madigan Heck showcased his signature images during an exhibition at the W South Beach last night to celebrate the launch of Acura's newest model.
"My work is kind of unique," the 26-year old said Thursday night. "In fashion there is so much similarity in photography. I think my work stands out. I focus on a very specific, high-fashion stuff."
The young artist -- who has worked with collections from designers such as Valentino, Christian Lacroix and Jean Paul Gaultier -- was on hand during the launch party for the latest model Acura ZDX in what was the first stop of the luxury car company's seven-city tour featuring Heck's works.
"The car was designed by a group of twentysomethings," Heck said. "So when Acura came to me to pair up, it made sense to keep everything from the car to the art young and contemporary."
