Flo-Rida Angling to Break into Movie Acting and Hang with LeBron

Miami hip-hop star Flo-Rida isn't about to leave the rap game -- but with any luck he'll soon be following fellow mic-masters T.I, 50 Cent and Ice Cube onto the big screen.

"Oh yeah, different people hit me up about getting into acting and different film roles," Flo-Rida told Niteside.  "I definitely want to make sure I'm taking some acting classes, and eventually venture off into doing some film."

He added, "I'm a big fan of Denzel's work, he's one I look up to."

For now  the rapper -- whose new double disc  "The Only One" drops in November -- is gearing up to hit the stage alongside 50 Cent, Nelly and fellow 305-er Pitbull for the annual breast cancer benefit concert Think Pink Rocks on Saturday. Oh, and then there's a late-night birthday bash at LIV at Fontainebleau to arrange.

Flo-Rida attended the Miami Heat season opener on Tuesday night and has plans to officially welcome the newest local resident, LeBron James, to the Magic City.

"I actually haven't met LeBron yet," he said.  "But I'm pretty sure I'll get a chance to see him. Hopefully at the game, we can shake hands ... something like that."

Now, if he can only convince LeBron to join him in a flick -- that's a movie plenty of people would pay to see.
