DJ Fiyah Vibez said the party doesn’t have to stop on the first day of the work week.
"Everyday is Saturday," Vibez told Niteside last night. "Monday is the new Saturday. Its Miami -- any day is your day."
Vibez, who spins hip-hop, reggae and house Monday nights at Jazid on Miami Beach, claimed his party’s music "relates to any and everybody.”
Vibez said he was destined to make music. Growing up in Panama, his mother hosted what he calls "Latin parties," he said.
"I love Miami,” he said, explaining why he stays close to the Magic City. “I am from the earth, like everyone else, but all I know is Miami Beach is the world and nothing else."
