“Dancing With The Stars” and Paula Abdul: “Maybe One Day”

If any celeb could rule "Dancing With the Stars" it would be a professional dancer and choreographer like Paula Abdul. So is the former "Idol" judge considering hitting the floor?

“I really love what I am doing now," Abdul told Niteside, "but you never know .... maybe one day."

And like most fans of the No. 1 rated show, she has a prediction about this year’s winner.

“As of right now, I think Jennifer Grey. However, stranger things have happened on that show. It’s a little difficult this season. Everyone is really pleased to see Jennifer come back and live in that moment that people identify with her.”

For now Abdul, who MC'd of Miami's InterContinental Make-A-Wish ball Saturday night, is focused on her own new "DWTS"-like  project, “Live To Dance,” which she is producing. The show is set to debut on CBS in January.

“For me, it was about creating a show that celebrates dancers of all ages,” she said. “There is no age limit. Dancers that once had their moment dancing along side Gene Kelly who want to come back, to little ones that are five to twelve years old that, because of their skill, can rival any adult dancer out there.”

She added, “I am encouraging them use their styles to show the audience things they have never seen before. It's going to blow people away -- I know that for sure.”
