Villain & The Vinyl Collective's Pop-Up Record Shop
Of all the fast, mad action that went down last Second Saturday night, none was faster or madder than that which took place at The Workshop's Pop-Up Record Shop. Put together by local promo powerhouse I Am Your Villain and a rag-tag team of keen-eared players known as The Vinyl Collective, the instant (and instantly hip) happening featured DJs Induce, Manuvers, Benton and Mr. Brown, as well as a streetside set from the scorching Talking Dogs. Head Villain Joel Meinholz says this is to be a quarterly event. We hope we won't have to wait that long. Yardbird Records Legend Michael Dean oversees a choice collection of vinyl at The Workshop's Pop-Up Record Shop.
