Next Role for Diane Keaton: Landlady

While Diane Keaton is known for many things--an esteemed acting career, high-profile relationships, and refined taste in architecture--one role the actress hasn't had much experience in is playing landlord. Well, that's all about to change since the Academy Award-winning actress recently listed her live-work townhouse in downtown Los Angeles for $2,800 per month, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Keaton, who is starring in "Darling Companion" set to be released this April, bought the Arts District pad for $570,000. Located in the former Barn Lofts condos, Keaton's rental crib features two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, original brick walls, exposed steel beams, clerestory windows, and a patio and private terrace.

The spread is tastefully decorated, which goes to show that the actress is no fool when it comes to design and architecture. In fact, the Los Angeles Times reports that Keaton co-wrote a book on house restoration called "California Romantica" and is currently working on her second architecture book for Rizzoli.
