Now that Carmelo Anthony is officially a New York Knick, he must endure the same rite of passage as every other New Yorker: renting a Manhattan apartment. However, unlike the majority of first time renters, Melo's budget hovers around $30,000 per month. The Post reports that the NBA star has checked out pads at Soho Mews, home to Justin Timberlake, as well as units at 158 Mercer Street, where Jon Bon Jovi resides. With a sizeable budget, whichever downtown pad Melo and his wife LaLa Vasquez choose to call home is sure to be spectacular, and hopefully, spacious enough to accommodate his 6' 8" frame.
