Cute Guy From “Prison Break” Writes Movie, Carey Mulligan Wants to Star

Having just completed "Never Let Me Go" for Fox Searchlight, Carey Mulligan is in talks to do another film with the art house studio.

Searchlight is developing "Stoker," a script by former "Prison Break" star Wentworth Miller of all people, about "an eccentric teenager whose enigmatic and estranged uncle returns to the family after the death of the girl's father," according to 24 Frames.

Also circling the project is Jodie Foster, who hasn't appeared in a film since 2008's "Nim's Island," and Ridley and Tony Scott's Scott Free Productions are interested in backing the project. Scott Free and Fox Searchlight co-produced this year's summers "Cyrus," which we loved.

Mulligan's "Never Let Me Go," slated to be released Oct. 1, dropped a gorgeous trailer last week. She can next be seen in "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps," (trailer) out Sept. 24.

Foster's next role is in "The Beaver," which she also directed, starring Mel Gibson as a depressed man who begins to relate to the world via a hand puppet beaver. It's due out later this year.
