Galifianakis Hits “Reply All”

Zach Galifianakis continues to pile up the projects, this time adding a starring role as a poor schlub ignites a firestorm by accidentally hitting the dreaded "reply all" button.

"Reply All" will be written and produced by Phil Johnston, who wrote the recently wrapped "Cedar Rapids, directed by Miguel Arteta and starring another "Hangover" alum, Ed Helms, as small-town insurance salesman who must try to save his co-workers' jobs.

Galifianakis can be seen starting tomorrow in "Dinner for Schmucks" (here's the trailer, our review will be up tomorrow) as a mind-control expert who also works at the I.R.S. Then in September, he's got a supporting role as a mentor to a fellow psychiatric patient in "It's Kind of a Funny Story."  November will find Galifianakis hitting the road with Robert Downey Jr. in "Due Date," about two guys driving cross country so one of them can get home for the birth of his first kid.

And don't forget that the second season of "Bored to Death," the HBO sitcom in which he plays second-fiddle to Jason Schwartzman, starts Sept. 26.

As Galifianakis' assault on the pop culture consciousness continues, he'll be working on "The Hangover 2," which is said to be taking place in Thailand (what could go wrong?), doing the voice of Humpty Dumpty for the "Shrek" spin-off "Puss in Boots." Oh, and he's been offered the role of the Nazi-fighting fish in a remake of "Mr. Limpett."

Beyond that are a few projects in various states, ranging from rumored to in development.
