Jason Sudeikis to Host MTV Movie Awards

"Saturday Night Live" star Jason Sudeikis has been tapped to host your tween cousin's Oscars.

MTV has announced that Sudeikis will be hosting the 20th annual MTV Movie Awards on June 5th. He takes over for another NBC star - Aziz Ansari of "Parks & Recreation" - who ticked off the network with his liberal use of "f-bombs" during last year's telecast.

Sudeikis has been gaining steam on the movie front himself, with the upcoming comedy "Horrible Bosses" that is a must-see based solely on the people in it (Sudeikis, Jason Bateman, Colin Farrell, Jennifer Aniston, Charlie Day, Jamie Foxx, Kevin Spacey, and Donald Sutherland).

Now that the show has its host, we wait to see which new categories MTV will create in order to shoe-horn in as many current Paramount movies as possible. (Remember the category "Best Summer Movie SO FAR"? For a show that airs in June? Won by....oh, what a surprise..."Transformers"? Should have guessed that during the red carpet show sponsored by "Transformers" featuring celebrities posing in front of Transformers.)
