Jeremy Renner to Appear in “Thor,” Sadly So Will This New Clip

CinemaCon was abuzz yesterday with word that a clip of "Thor" that was revealed had confirmed a long-heard rumor.

"Basically, Hawkeye's costume is going to be very similar to the Ultimates version of the character," reported ComingSoon, who saw the clip that feature him alongside alongside Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson.

"In the concept art, we see Renner wearing similar dark glasses and a leather outfit with a matching over-the-shoulder leather quill for his arrows, only the movie version of Hawkeye has the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo emblazoned on it to show his government allegiances."

While folks at CinemaCon were treated to Jeremy Renner, we in cyberspace were treated to this ridiculous new clip from "Thor," which shows the God of Thunder's first encounter Natalie Portman and friends. Watch the clip and we'll discuss it below.

Can someone tell us why Thor is shouting for his hammer's by shouting "Hammer!" instead of calling it by its name, Mjolnir? When he's looking for his dog does he shout "Dog!"? And are we to believe that a god whose just survived a fall from the heavens can't take a little tasing? C'mon...

We've gone from stonecold psyched to outright despair over "Thor," hopefully our initial reaction is proved correct upon its May 6 release.
