With talents like this who needs the Disney Channel?

At this weekend's press day for her new film, "The Last Song" (we'll have a review for you closer to the March 31 release date though there is a minor review spoiler below), Miley Cyrus announced that after the fourth and final season of her hit Disney series "Hannah Montana" airs, it will be the end of the character.

That means no 3D movies, no concerts, no Christmas specials, no touching reunions, nothing to incite tween riots or demand parents spend two grand on scalped tickets.

"No!" Cyrus said emphatically when asked if there could be a resurrection of her character who lives the best of both worlds. "'Hannah Montana' [and] the wig is out. As soon as that last episode [is filmed], one [wig] will be in a museum and one will be burned or something because I can't put it on again. It's just too much."

And thus endeth the reign of Miley and Hannah.

We just hope she saved some of those Disney pennies for a rainy day. (Aforementioned Spoiler Alert) If "The Last Song" is any indication, her dreams of Julie Roberts-dom will be short-lived, going the way of her dad and his mullet's music career in the 90s.
