“This Must Be The Place” to See Another Clip of Sean Penn's Robert Smith Impersonation

Sean Penn's upcoming film "This Must Be the Place" is finally due to come out, some nine months after its world premiere at Cannes in 2011. Today we get another peek of the actor doing his best impersonation of Cure frontman Robert Smith.

Penn stars as Cheyenne, a past-his-prime rock star suffering through the boredom of retirement. When he travels to New York City to reconcile with his ailing father, he arrives too late, and so sets out to honor his memory by going on a road trip to hunt down the Nazi who humiliated the old man back at Auschwitz.

If you thought Penn looked bewildered and out of sorts in "Tree of Life," wait till you get a load of this performance.

Directed and written by Paolo Sorrentino ("Il Divo"), the film co-stars Frances McDormand, Judd Hirsch and David Byrne, who also supplied the music. "This Must Be the Place" opens March 12.
