Welcome to Watch List, where we identify five things on TV to watch while you stay at home and eat black beans straight out of the can. LET’S GO!
GREY’S ANATOMY – 9:00PM (ABC) Have you ever watched “Grey’s Anatomy” and thought to yourself, “Boy, I really wish they would sing about how selfish they are,” well you’re in luck! Yes, it’s a special “music event” episode of the ABC warhorse, featuring your favorite cast of lovely ditherers belting out tunes from Snow Patrol and a host of others. You should watch this. I’m not even kidding. Watch it and then go to the Television Without Pity message boards and see just how angry Grey’s fans are that they did a musical episode. It’ll be the best four hours you ever waste. ANTICIPATION: FERRY CRASH!
JERSEY SHORE – 10:00PM (MTV) It’s the season finale tonight, until the fifty consecutive reunion specials and blooper reel shows. All your questions get answered. Will Snooki and Vinny get all smushtastic? Will Sammi and Ronnie stay together? Wait, is that still an issue? Why are those two still allowed on this show? ANTICIPATION: SEE YOU IN TWO MONTHS!
AMERICAN IDOL – 8:00PM (FOX) Your elimination hour tonight comes with guest performances from Sugarland and former “Idol” reject turned Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson. Does anyone kind of miss fat Jennifer Hudson? I prefer me a whole lotta woman. ANTICIPATION: TEARS!
NCAA TOURNAMENT – 7:00PM (CBS AND TBS) The Sweet 16 begins tonight and CBS and TBS (CTBS?) are bringing you all four games from half the bracket in their entirety. At 7, you get BYU-Florida on TBS and UConn-SDSU on CBS, then at 9:30 or so you get Butler-Wisconsin on TBS and Duke-Arizona on CBS. Please note: Gus Johnson is doing the TBS games. So yeah, that might tilt your viewing preferences. ANTICIPATION: THE SLIPPER STILL FITS!
PARKS AND RECREATION – 9:30PM (NBC) Did you know Chris Pratt is married to Anna Faris? Holy smokes, now THAT is outkicking your coverage. I salute the man. ANTICIPATION: I KNEW IT! YOU DIDN’T KNOW THAT.
