Bill Murray to Join Wes Anderson's “Moon Rise Kingdom”

Wes Anderson has a longtime collaborator and four more stars ready to join him for his film.

Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Ed Norton, Frances McDormand and Tilda Swinton are all in talks to star in Anderson's "Moon Rise Kingdom," reported Deadline.

Set in the '60s, "Moon" tells the story of a young couple who go off to be together, but folks in their small New England town are convinced they've disappeared. Norton would play a scout leader who leads his charges on a search party, Willis the sheriff having an affair with the missing girl's mother, played by McDormand, with Murray as the girl's father.

Anderson was looking for a 12-year-old boy and girl for the film, according to previous reports, which he planned to start shooting in the spring of 2011. This is his first film since the Oscar-nominated "The Fantastic Mr. Fox."

Anderson co-wrote the film with his "Darjeeling Limited" collaborator, Roman "Son of Francis, Brother of Sofia" Coppola. If you've never seen it--and we're reasonably sure you haven't, Coppola's lone directorial effort, "CQ," was a pretty fun and amusing, if imperfect, homage to '60s cinema.
