IF THE SHOE FITS: Mother’s Day is just around the corner (as in tomorrow) and you may poke fun at your mother’s “mom” jeans from time to time, but mothers have been influencing the fashion world since the dawn of time. Get a glimpse of womanly fashions throughout the decades when Womenade of Miami celebrates its first ever fashion event, Take a Walk in Her Shoes, this Saturday from at the Viceroy. Featuring looks from C. Madeleine’s vintage fashion warehouse and styled by Danny Santiago of Sex and the City and Ugly Betty fame, the show will highlight the many looks women have rocked through the ages. All clothing will be available for purchase after the show at C. Madeleine’s and proceeds from the event will benefit Community Partnership for Homeless. GET IT: 2-5 P.M.
