NBC 6 is proud to join the Wings for Live World Run this Sunday, May 7.
The Wings for Life World Run is a global charity event where 100% of all entry fees and all donations raised go to benefit the Wings For Life Spinal Cord Research Foundation to fund life-changing spinal cord research and clinical trials at renewed universities and institute worldwide.
The Wings For Life run has an unique, and uniquely fun, format where everybody starts simultaneously and the finish line chase you. The run takes place at event locations across the world. Everybody starts at exactly the same time, 7am ET. The BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL will be the location were local runners will meet this coming up Sunday.
Whether it’s day or night, bright sun or pouring rain at your location – you’re running together with the world and sharing an amazing experience!
