NBC 6 and Telemundo 51 are teaming up to collect items to be donated to earthquake victims in Ecuador.
A devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck Ecuador on April 16 and thousands of people have lost everything and are in need of help.
Volunteers and aid workers have rushed to provide help to victims and their families, and NBC 6 and Telemundo 51 have joined these efforts partnering with the Consulate of Ecuador in Miami.
Here is how you can help:
On Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., please stop by and bring your donations to the Miramar Fire Department at 14801 Southwest 27th Street adjacent to our studios.
From Sunday, April 24 to Friday, April 29, the collection efforts continue at the following locations:
