Taylor Swift Sends UCF Grad Flowers, Handwritten Card

A University of Central Florida graduate is finding it difficult to “shake it off” after she received a large bouquet of flowers and a handwritten card from Taylor Swift, congratulating her on the achievement.

“I invited Taylor to my graduation party and she sent me flowers and this card,” Ashley Silvers wrote on Twitter in all-caps. “I love you honey.”

According to reports, Silvers, who is from Miami, graduated from UCF on May 6 and was accepted into Fordham University’s business school in New York. She invited Swift to her graduation party in Miami via mail and e-mail, but the pop sensation didn’t show.

Instead, Swift sent a handwritten card to Silvers, which has since gone viral on social media.

“I’m so proud of you, your hard work and dedication, your excitement and ambition,” Swift wrote on the card, next to a sketch of Silvers in front of a skyline in New York City.
