How much does San Francisco 49ers' great Joe Montana ask for when he sells his estate? $49 million, of course.
The Hall of Fame quarterback is selling his Calistoga, Calif. compound for a staggering $49 million.
The 500-acre property has a 9,700-square-foot home, an equestrian center, a basketball court, a skeet shooting range, a gym, a pool and a spa.
If Montana gets even close to what he asking, he will be able to add another record to his long resume.
Coldwell Banker's Rick Laws told the Associated Press the most expensive home sales on record on the county's Multiple Listing Service were two properties that sold for $15 million each in 2001. But then those people weren't the greatest quarterback to ever play in the NFL.
