Miami’s beloved, Pitbull or Mr. 305 or Mr. Worldwide – is out of this world!

Pitbull released his latest single, “Back in Time,” which landed on the soundtrack and is the theme song of the new Men in Black III film.

“It's an honor and a blessing and a great opportunity at being involved in something like Men in Black II”, said Pitbull. “It's not a movie it's a business it's a franchise so to have the back in time single for the movie it's an amazing opportunity for us and also to be involved with actors like Josh, Will and Tommy.”

That’s right, the movie about cool guys in black suits who know of the other worldly creatures and aliens that live among us. It’s back and again, starring Will Smith in the third installment, and Pitbull is part of it.

Power 96 has been spinning Pitbull’s music way before he was Mr. Worldwide and this single is no exception.

“Power 96 was the first to play ‘Back in Time’ with Pitbull,” said Lucy Lopez, from The Lucy Lopez Show on Power 96.

Pitbull just released behind the scenes video of the making of the music video on his Vimeo page.

In it, he steps onto a Hollywood set and into the film with a song that literally goes back in time with that guitar riff and sample from the 1956 hit, “Love is Strange.” Dirty Dancing fans will have an instant flash back to Baby – no one puts her in a corner.

DJ Zog from Power 96 who spins in the clubs says “Back in Time” keeps the party going.

“Let me tell you something, as a DJ, when you drop a song and you see people put their hands up in the air and start singing the song, I mean it’s a hit,”  DJ Zog.

Even though Pitbull is on a first name bases with the likes of Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin, stars of the film, he never forgets where he’s from and takes the 305 with him.

“Absolutely, I miss the old school Miami that I grew up around and then I came back and made it positive you know. I flipped it and made it positive you know which is now black suits, white shirt, black glasses and a tie, que rico.”

Men in Black III hits theaters May 25.
