Brad and Angelina Could Co-Star in “The Counselor”: Report

Javier Bardem reportedly could also co-star in the Ridley Scott-directed movie based on a Cormac McCarthy book

Talk about an A-list cast!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie — plus Michael Fassbender and Javier Bardem — could all co-star in Ridley Scott's "The Counselor," based on a book by "No Country for Old Men" scribe Cormac McCarthy, Deadline reported.

According to the Hollywood news website, the plans for Pitt and Bardem to co-star with Fassbender, who is already confirmed, are more solid than the possibility of Jolie joining them.

If the casting materializes, Deadline reported, it would cast "No Country" star, and Oscar-winner, Bardem in his first McCarthy-based movie since that one.

It would also reunite Pitt with Scott for the first time since he performed his breakthrough role in "Thelma & Louise."

And it could become the first movie in which Pitt and Jolie co-star since "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," Us Magazine reported. They met and fell in love on the set of that movie, released in 2005.
