'Twilight' Stars Take The Mound!

Vampires and werewolves were seen slugging it out this past Saturday, according to NewMoonMovie.org.
"Twilight" cast members including Peter Facinelli, Michael Welch, Edi Gathegi and Rachelle Lefevre joined "New Moon" newcomer werewolves Alex Meraz and Kiowa Gordon to participate in a baseball game — for a good cause.

The event was based on the sport of "vampire baseball," which is a unique twist on the all-American pastime from Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" series.
Rachelle Lefevre, who plays vampire Victoria, threw out the first pitch and the event ended with Fourth of July fireworks.

The cast and crew from "Twilight" and "New Moon" teamed up to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon.
