It was an intense game that had everyone on the edge of their seats

Tom Brady led one of the greatest comebacks in sports history, lifting New England from a 25-point hole to the Patriots' fifth NFL championship in the first ever Super Bowl overtime.

The Patriots scored 19 points in the final quarter, including a pair of 2-point conversions, then marched relentlessly to James White's 2-yard touchdown run in overtime to beat the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 Sunday night.

It was an intense game that had everyone on the edge of their seats. See how some celebrities and sport stars reacted to the Patriots' win.

Filmmaker Michael Moore tweeted, comparing the Super Bowl results to the 2016 Presidential Election election results:

The president of the United States himself also reacted to Brady's win:

Other officials reacted to New England victory as well.

Rapper Lil Jon, supporter of the Atlanta Falcons, was there at the NRG Stadium in Houston and didn't let the team's loss get him down.

Actor Chris Evans, one of the Patriots' biggest fans in Hollywood, celebrated the win with a lot of exclamation points.

Atlanta's Morehouse College alumnus Samuel L. Jackson also expressed his sadness on Twitter, but with a hint of hope.

The Patriots won the coin toss for overtime, and the rest of the game was no contest. Brady completed six passes. A pass interference call took the ball to the 2, and White scooted to his right and barely over the goal line.

His teammates streamed off the sideline to engulf White as confetti streamed down from the NRG Stadium rafters.
