Gaga is suffering from a labral tear of the right hip due to a show injury, which caused the pop star intense pain to perform. She initially hoped to postpone just four shows, but ultimately had to cancel the rest of the tour.

"I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened," Gaga tweeted after Live Nation officially announced the cancellation. "I've been praying it would heal."
