Nicki Minaj is ready for her close-up.
The performer will be taking her theatrics from the stage to the big screen, E! News confirms, as the singer is in final negotiations to make her film debut in Cameron Diaz's revenge comedy flick "The Other Woman."
Minaj will be playing Diaz's outspoken assistant--who is on her third marriage--at a law firm.

The Nick Cassavetes-directed movie, which also stars Leslie Mann, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Kate Upton, focuses around a woman (Diaz), who, after realizing her boyfriend (Coster-Waldau) is a married man, teams up with his wife (Mann) and his other mistress (Upton) to get revenge.
Minaj told E! News back in November that she was ready for some acting, saying, "I want to do something like a small action movie."
Well, "The Other Woman" doesn't sound like a high-energy, stunt-crazy flick, but dealing with a cheating man is bound to have some action in it.
