Reese Witherspoon Cancels “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” Appearance

Reese Witherspoon apparently isn't in interview mode just yet, following her arrest in Atlanta on Friday.

After she pulled the plug on Monday's press appearances for her new film "Mud," the website for "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" is showing that the Oscar winner is no longer scheduled to appear on the show Tuesday.

Instead of Witherspoon and Eli Manning as the main guests, the site is now promoting the New York Giants quarterback and "Nurse Jackie's" Adam Ferrara.

Witherspoon, whose Monday cancellations included "Good Morning America," where she was supposed to pretape a spot for Wednesday, was arrested for disorderly conduct and husband Jim Toth was busted on suspicion of DUI early Friday morning.

They have court dates set for next month and Witherspoon has since issued a statement saying she is "deeply embarrassed" by what she said to the officer who pulled her and Toth over.

"It was definitely a scary situation and I was frightened for my husband, but that is no excuse," the actress said.

Witherspoon did attend the "Mud" premiere in New York on Sunday, stopping to pose for pics but not taking questions.
