Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Tease 2015 Golden Globe Awards

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler joke about their unconventional fashion choices as co-hosts of the 2015 Golden Globe Awards in a promo video for the event.

The two are hosting the annual ceremony for the third year in a row. In the video, released by NBC, which airs the event, the dynamic comedic duo are shown dressed in gorgeous black formal outfits.

"Tina, everyone wants to know, who will you be wearing?" Poehler, star of "Parks and Recreation," asks her BFF and "30 Rock" alum.

Fey replied that at the Golden Globes, she plans to wear a romper, made out of cheese, paired with some unconventional footwear. Poehler revealed her outfit, which may be difficult to wear, while her pal remarked that it sounds "gorgent."

Dressing up for the formal ceremony is not a highlight for Poehler.

"I like to look nice...but it is a bummer that you have to do all these like important comedy bits while you're wearing a ridiculous outfit," she said on Howard Stern's Sirius XM satellite radio show in October. "Like, it's such a bummer that you have to wear heels."

Fey and Poehler received rave reviews for their no holds barred jokes and fantastic chemistry at the 2013 and 2014 ceremonies (spurring many viewers to say on social media that the two should host every award show).

"I knew we'd had fun together," Poehler told Stern, about her initial decision to co-host the event.
"It's a fun night because it's TV and film in the same room so there's like class issues, even among famous people, which is fun to exploit," she said. "Like, last year, we made a joke that like there were so many famous people in the audience tonight that Matt Damon is basically a garbage person."

Fey and Poehler have been friends for years. They met in 1993 at an improv class in Chicago's ImprovOlympic. Fey moved to New York several years later and became a writer on NBC's "SNL," later co-anchoring "Weekend Update."

Poehler joined the cast in 2001. She joined Fey as a co-anchor in 2004, replacing Jimmy Fallon. That year, they appeared together in the now-cult comedy movie "Mean Girls." They also starred in "Baby Mama," another comedy, and will appear in the new movie "The Nest" this December.

After hosting the Golden Globes the first time, she and Fey committed to doing it again for the next two years. The 2015 ceremony will be their final such gig.

"We're doing it one last time and we're done," she told Stern. "We're both done after this but it's good. You don't want to be a perennial host. It's a lot of work and you want people to be like, 'You want to leave the party early!' You don't want to be the last one at the party."

The 2015 Golden Globe Awards ceremony, whose winners are chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, will air live on NBC on Jan. 11, 2015. The nominations will be announced on Dec. 11.
