Big Sean Arrested For Sexual Assault, Denies Charges

Ascendent rapper Big Sean was arrested in upstate New York Thursday night after a woman attending one of his concerts alleged sexual misconduct against the 23-year old. He and another man, Willie Hansbro, aka the performer Sayitainttone, were charged with misdemeanor counts of forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment and sex abuse and eventually released on $500 bail.

Big Sean's lawyer said in a statement Friday night: "Last night, recording artists Sean 'Big Sea' Anderson and Willie 'Sayitainttone' Hansbro were arrested and then immediately released by the NY State Police in connection with an allegation made by a female who was at their concert in Lewiston, New York. Both men were charged with misdemeanors and they both vehemently deny the allegations. I am confident, that after further investigation, both men will be vindicated."

It's basically the only low the rapper's had since the release of his debut album, Finally Famous, which debuted at #3 on Billboard last June June. The MC's first single from the album made it to #1 on the charts and he also earned a Video Music Award nomination for best new artist.
