“The Voice” Recap: Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera Lose Contestants in Double Elimination!

Christina and Cee Lo performed the songstress' new song "Make The World Move" live for the first time

And then there were 11.

After what seemed like months of blind auditions, playoffs, "The Voice" is finally making the hard cuts as the NBC hit reality show said goodbye to its first Top 12 finalist tonight. Oh wait, make that first two Top 12 finalists as it was a double elimination!

Of course, it was also the first elimination that was completely of out coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton's hands as only America's vote counts for the rest of the competition.

Michaela Paige and Adriana Louise were contestants sent home tonight during the double elimination.

Michaela, who performed Pink's "[Blow Me] One Last Kiss" last night, was the contestant Blake chose to save during the playoffs last week and he begged viewers to vote for her during the performance show. Coincidentally, Adriana was also saved by her coach, Christina, during the playoffs, and her rendition of Carrie Underwood's "Good Girl" failed to strike a note with voters.

The night also featured a few fun musical breaks from all the elimination anxiety: Coaches Christina and Cee Lo performed the songstress' new song "Make The World Move" live for the first time, and country superstar Jason Aldean also stopped by to duet with contestants Bryan Keith and Dez Duron.
