Courteney Cox's 'Family Matter' Halts 'Cougar Town' Production

Neither reps for Cox, nor the show have revealed the issue

A "private family matter" for star Courteney Cox has halted production on "Cougar Town," according to People.

"We can confirm production on 'Cougar Town' has been temporarily shut down in order for Courteney to deal with a private family matter," a rep for ABC told the mag.

The nature of the issue was not reported.

"Cougar Town" has been a freshman success for the network this season, earning 7.9 million viewers for its most recent episode this week.
