Some will say good riddance, and others will have to click around for another TV obsession, but TLC's reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" is done for good after Monday night's episode.

In the hour-long show, Jon and Kate Gosselin will go on separate outings with their eight kids, with Dad taking the brood to a fire station near the family home in Wernersville, Pa., and Kate bringing them to a dairy farm. While it doesn't mean the two won't continue to make news with their constant squabbling, it does bring an end to the run hit show that launched them.

At its peak, the TLC show drew more than 10 million viewers. But as the pair grew apart and finally agreed to get a divorce, the acrimony overcame whatever drama the original show had provided. The two made repeated appearances to make their case

Outside the show, both Jon and Kate made frequent appearances, Kate mostly to plead her case on the talk show circuit, and Jon, to party like a rock star with a parade of young babes.

With Jon's behavior becoming more erratic, the show's producers sought in September to recast the show as "Kate Plus Eight," concentrating on the kids and their mom. Jon Gosselin threatened to sue, and said he was against allowing his kids to be on the show.

"Kate Plus Eight' is not in production," TLC spokeswoman Laurie Goldberg told The Associated Press Thursday. "We are focusing on the launch of Kate's new series in early spring."

She said no details were available on what kind of show it might be, though there has been speculation she could host a talk show.

Monday's show airs at 9 p.m. EST.
